The Principles of Chiropractic
Our Clinical Approach

The principle on which chiropractic is based is that the body has an inborn, or "innate" ability to heal and self-regulate. That information which allows this innate ability to function is transmitted via the nervous system (the vast system of nerves that supply all the organs, tissues and cells of the body). Interference to the nerves will either magnify, suppress, or scramble the varying messages to the body. click here >>

Regular Chiropractic Care Makes A Difference

Patients who do not fully understand the importance of regular chiropractic care to maintain health and wellness should take close note of a recent RAND Corporation study on chiropractic and the elderly (see accompanying article). This study reports that patients under chiropractic care feel healthier, are less reliant on the health care system, and take fewer prescription drugs. This ultimately provides for a higher quality of life. click here >>

Kids And Chiropractic Care

"Children don't get back pain," and "Why would I bring my child to a chiropractor?" are two common statements heard in discussions of children and chiropractic. What is commonly not understood is that many childhood activities can cause the bones of the spine that protect delicate nerve tissues to lose their normal motion or position. This can cause an interference with the nervous system, which controls all of the organs, tissues, and cells of the body, causing various systems throughout the body to malfunction. click here >>
