On Treason

When you have an asset and give it without receiving payment or service, it is a gift.

When you have an asset someone wants and give it in return for an equivalent asset or service, it is bartering.

When you have an asset someone wants and you give it in return for money, it is a sale.

When you have an asset someone wants and you demand an equivalent service because an equivalent asset is not available, it is a bribe.

When you have a national asset that another country wants and you demand payment, it is treason.

When the president holds a national asset that another country wants and demands an equivalent payment in personal service, is that treason?

When the equivalent personal service impacts the constitutional democracy, it is high treason.

Aldrich Ames and many others did it at much smaller values and were charged with treason. They exchanged national assets for personal gain.

Why can't Democrat's use simple language. It is always their downfall.

You can argue the definition of treason, but the impact to a constitutional democracy gives succor to your opponents.
