These images were extracted from a copyrighted video shot by Patricia deBroin Fournier on August 15, 1997, on Lake Memphremagog, near Magog, Quebec. The moving object in the water may, or may not be, the legendary serpent of the lake.

There have been more than 200 reported "sightings" of mysterious moving objects, and strange waves and wakes, on Lake Memphremagog over the past 150 years. This year alone there have been eight reports.
