COBDEN, ONTARIO | The daily Log Cabin Chronicles is now in its 19th year on-line.
During those 18 plus years since I bought my first modem, got a slow dial-up account with Vermont's SoverNet ISP, and spent untold hours learning how to write HTML code and design websites (and along the way went back to school and earned a Master's Degree in Internet Strategy Management), I have published more than 13,000 original photographs and God only knows how many columns, articles, stories, and poems.
This large amount of information has always been free, and will continue to be free as long I'm able to publish the LCC.
The main reason the LCC exists is because of the numerous volunteers who, over the years, have generously shared their words and images. Some have dropped off the radar, a few have died. I thank them all.
I especially want to thank the current crop of photographers and writers whose work keeps the LCC fresh every day:
Ross Murray, Fred Ryan, Frank Bernheisel, Bobbi Graham, Mike Crossling, Bob Gervais, Tim Doherty, Gordy Johnson, Gordon Alexander, Kira Doherty, Bruce Spear, Neal Warshaw, Linda Hogan, Peg Tassey, Jim Dodds, Charlie Tetreault, Ellen Valley, MaryJo Gallagher, Art Greaves, Jim Jillson, Dave Lepitre, Stanley Fefferman, David Lapp, Eric Fefferman, Lynn Lyons, Roger Leege, Jeremy Mahoney, John Eyman, Mary Campisi Ferree, Rick Blue, and Stasia Marunchak. If I've left anyone out, I am sorry.
