Log Cabin Chronicles

JUST FOLKS: LUIGI TIENGO, PAINTER

Some say life is just playing the cards you're dealt. Others say life is what you make it.

You look around Luigi's country home, with it's beamed cathedral ceiling and sturdy, serviceable furniture that he designed and built, the sense of light within, the sweeping views without...

...he's easy to talk with, and quick to smile and laugh. He's still excited about life -- making his next painting, having his next exhibition, taking his next bicycle trip down the Tomifobia Bike Path to Newport, Vermont.

Luigi is one of those people who hasn't been content to play out the hand someone else dealt him.

Like he says: "I've never worked a day in my life…"
